Enjoy the safe and healthy family fun of a bicycle ride starting at Kiwanis Park and following a predetermined and escorted route through the streets of Union City, with refreshments available at the end of the ride. This is not a race, and all participants will get free T-shirts(while supplies last). All children must wear a helmet and be accompanied by an adult. This is a free event! Be sure to line up at 8:30 a.m. for a chance to enter your pet in one of several great categories, including Cutest, Best Costume, Most Obedient, Most Unusual, Funniest, and Owner/Pet Look-a-like. There's also a special category for  Pet-less child in costume carrying stuffed animal. Winners in each category will receive a trophy, and all participants will receive a ribbon. The first 50 entries will also receive a "Pets in the Park" T-shirt by local artist! One entry form and $5 registration fee required for each pet. Entry forms are available here, at the Main Street Office on Depot Street, and at the Obion County Chamber of Commerce Office.  Please make sure are pets and children are supervised at all times and that all pets are properly controlled. Adults must be inattendace with their pets or children under 12 years of age at all times. Come to a morning full of fun for kids grades K-6 and their parents.  Meet your local policeman and get fingerprinted for safety certification or meet your local firemen and explore the fire truck. Use your imagination to decorate or design a unique chair using paint, fabrics, or whatever you want, to be sold at the Art in the Park event. Ladder back, Adirondack, new or antique chairs are acceptable, but recliners are discouraged. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are welcome.
